About MyBITS at Pilani Campus

The workspace

MyBITS Pilani is the Pilani campus workspace of MyBITS, the student-built unified campus operating system for BITS Pilani students. The Pilani rollout is in progress — the workspace at pilani.mybitsapp.com is being seeded with campus-specific data (timetables, mess menus, hostel maps, faculty roster) before the sign-in gate opens to the Pilani cohort. Existing Pilani students can sign up now to receive an invitation when the workspace opens for their batch.

Academics

MyBITS Pilani mirrors the feature set that has been battle-tested on the Goa workspace. That includes the clash-free 6-day × 11-hour class timetable grid, the course catalog with prerequisites and prescribed textbooks, midsem and comprehensive exam schedules with multi-axis filters, and a faculty directory with profile pages and section teaching loads. The Pilani academic calendar surfaces category-coded events — instructional days, holidays, exam weeks, and registration windows — pulled from official campus sources.

Life on campus

Life-on-campus features come with the same rollout. Daily mess menus for every mess block on Pilani campus, the hostel directory covering Vyasa, Budh, Krishna, Ram, and every other bhawan, the verified zero-commission peer marketplace, per-campus forums categorized by Academics / Placements / Hostel / Clubs / Lost & Found / General, and the Trip Planner splitting cab and auto fares to Jaipur, Delhi, and long-distance BITS-connectivity destinations. The Pilani workspace is fully isolated from Goa and Hyderabad — a listing in Pilani is invisible in Goa, a Hyderabad forum thread never surfaces here, and vice versa.

When does MyBITS Pilani go live?
The Pilani workspace rollout is in progress — data seeding is underway. Interested BITS Pilani students can sign up at pilani.mybitsapp.com now and will be notified as their batch is admitted. The rollout is deliberately staged to keep the system stable as user numbers scale.
Will MyBITS Pilani have the same features as MyBITS Goa?
Yes — the Pilani rollout ports the same feature set that runs on Goa: timetables, courses, exams, faculty, mess menus, hostels, marketplace, forums, and Trip Planner. Each feature comes online as its underlying data is imported and validated for Pilani.
Is MyBITS Pilani isolated from other campus workspaces?
Yes. Every query against Pilani data is scoped to the Pilani campus at the database layer. Goa and Hyderabad users never see Pilani listings, forum posts, or mess menus, and vice versa. Campus isolation is asserted by the platform's test suite on every protected route.
Which hostels will MyBITS Pilani cover?
