MyBITS Goa — the unified campus platform for BITS Pilani Goa

MyBITS Goa is the student-built, unified campus operating system for students of BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus. It runs at goa.mybitsapp.com as a sealed workspace for the Goa cohort — Pilani, Hyderabad, and Dubai each get their own separate workspace, and data never crosses the boundary. Sign-in is Google OAuth tied to the @goa.bits-pilani.ac.in institutional email, so every BITSian in the workspace is a verified peer, not a random internet stranger.

The academic layer covers timetables, courses, exams, faculty, and the academic calendar drawn from the official BITS Pilani Goa campus sources. Timetable data is parsed directly from the campus timetable PDF and refreshed each semester. Course pages carry prerequisites, prescribed textbooks, and section-level details. The exam schedule surface covers both midsem and comprehensive dates, sortable by course, department, or date. Faculty pages list teaching load, sections, and (where available) Google Scholar links.

Life on campus lives in the same app. Mess menus for every mess block are surfaced daily. The hostel directory covers CH-1 through CH-4 for men and every Meera block for women, with occupancy stats, floor-by-floor room maps, and rosters searchable by name, ID, or room. The marketplace is a verified zero-commission peer surface for cycles, mattresses, lab coats, textbooks, and campus gear. The forum is per-campus, categorized (Academics, Placements, Hostel, Clubs, Lost & Found, General), and supports pseudonymous-but-accountable posting. The Trip Planner splits cab and auto fares equally to Dabolim, Manohar Airport, Madgaon, Vasco, and Karmali stations.
