About MyBITS at Dubai Campus

MyBITS Dubai is the planned Dubai workspace of MyBITS, the student-built unified campus operating system for BITS Pilani students. The Dubai campus rollout is being scoped — the workspace will run at dubai.mybitsapp.com and mirror the feature set already live on Goa and rolling out on Pilani and Hyderabad. BITS Pilani Dubai students can register interest now to be notified when the workspace opens.

The academic layer for MyBITS Dubai will match the platform-wide toolkit: a clash-free 6-day × 11-hour class timetable grid; a course catalog with prerequisites, credit hours, and prescribed textbooks; midsem and comprehensive exam schedules with sortable columns and multi-axis filters; a faculty directory with per-instructor profiles; and the academic calendar. Data will be sourced from the official BITS Pilani Dubai campus academic office when the rollout begins.

Life-on-campus features will roll out in parallel with the academic layer. Mess menus, hostel directory, the verified zero-commission peer marketplace, per-campus forums, and the Trip Planner (adapted for Dubai transit — DXB airport, Dubai Metro connections, and long-distance travel to nearby cohorts). The Dubai workspace will be fully isolated from Goa, Pilani, and Hyderabad — a listing in Dubai will never surface in another campus workspace, and vice versa. Isolation is the platform's single load-bearing privacy invariant.

Will MyBITS Dubai support Emirates transit in the Trip Planner?
Yes, the Trip Planner on MyBITS Dubai will be tuned for Dubai transit — Dubai International Airport (DXB), Al Maktoum International (DWC), Dubai Metro connections, and other high-frequency corridors that BITSians use. Fares split equally, verified peer pools only.
Which BITS Pilani Dubai email will sign me in to MyBITS Dubai?
Sign-in for MyBITS Dubai will accept the @dubai.bits-pilani.ac.in institutional email address, following the same domain-based verification that gates Goa, Pilani, and Hyderabad. Non-BITS Dubai addresses land outside the workspace.
Is MyBITS Dubai an official BITS Pilani service?
